Photo of Clarissa

Clarissa is a first year veterinary student. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas A&M University. She has an adopted guinea pig named Percy who loves snuggling. Her hobbies include playing violin, reading, and practicing Spanish. After graduating from vet school, Clarissa wants to work in a bilingual practice that treats small animal and exotic patients.

Clarissa decided in high school that she wanted to be a vet because she enjoys biology and interacting with owners and their pets. Her vet school survival tip: “Ask questions. If you don’t understand something, ask a classmate or the professor. They want you to succeed!”
