Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Courtney is a
member of the Aggie Class of 2019, majoring in biomedical sciences
and minoring in neuroscience and music. She is involved in MSC
OPAS, MedLife, Women’s Chorus, the Maroon & White Leadership
Program, and the University Honors Program. In addition, she has
been a member of the Aggie Research Scholars program for three
semesters and is currently working in a lab investigating the
effect of ethanol on developing embryonic microvasculature.
After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and,
hopefully, going on to specialize in perinatal medicine or
obstetrics and gynecology.
When she isn’t studying, she likes baking, painting, and
watching Netflix. She also loves to travel and collect mugs and
street art from other countries. Back home in Dallas, she enjoys
spending time with her parents and her three dogs: Lola, Ellie, and
