Ellen is a third year veterinary student who wants to specialize
in zoo and aquatic animal medicine. She received her undergraduate
degree Chemistry and Biochemistry from University of Oklahoma.
While she is not studying she enjoys running, shopping, painting,
crafting, and cooking. She has a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever
named Prince.
"I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when my mom told me
zookeepers do a lot of cleaning," Ellen said.
Ellen's vet school survival tip: "Do the best you can and then
let it go. Nobody can be perfect."
