Janelle

JanelleMJanelle is a veterinary student in the class of 2022. Originally from Trabuco Canyon, California, she is a first-generation Aggie who received her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University in 2016.

Preparing for a career in veterinary medicine, Janelle shadowed at the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco for several summers to gain exotic animal experience during her undergraduate years and worked in a small animal clinic in downtown Dallas after graduation. She has been involved in several research projects; one particular favorite involved Quaker parrots at Texas A&M's Schubot Center. She also has enjoyed working in the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences' Small Animal Hospital as an ICU technician assistant.

Janelle relaxes by reading fictional novels and running with her family’s border collies.
