Jennifer is a second year veterinary student who wants to
specialize in small animal medicine and equine. She received her
undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of
Houston. While she is not studying she enjoys playing piano,
dancing (ballet, tap, and jazz), yoga, scrapbooking, and
kickboxing. She has two cats named Cookie and Pickles.
"I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when my cat Bozo was
diagnosed with lymphoma. He went through chemo and radiation
treatments and, unfortunately, didn't make it," Jennifer said.
Jennifer's vet school survival tip: "Never compare yourself to
others. Just do your best."
