Jennifer

Jennifer 2013

Jennifer is a third year veterinary student who wants to specialize in small animal and equine medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and her MBA degree from the University of Houston. While she is not studying, she enjoys playing piano, dancing (ballet, tap, and jazz), yoga, Pilates, scrapbooking, and kickboxing. She has two cats named Cookie and Pickles and a wirehaired dachshund named Fender.

"I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when my cat Bozo was diagnosed with lymphoma," Jennifer said. "He went through chemo and radiation treatments and, unfortunately, didn't make it."

Jennifer's vet school survival tip: "Never compare yourself to others. Just do your best."
