Katrina

Katrina is a third year veterinary student. She is an out-of- state student from California, but she loves being a Texas A&M Aggie! Katrina received her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of California Davis. She is interested in small animal medicine, and would love to become a clinical professor one day after graduation.

"I've always loved animals, but I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian in my junior year of high school. I started volunteering at a local vet office, and even though I spent 99% of my time cleaning things, it was still one of the most exciting places I'd ever been in. I knew then that not only was I meant to be an animal person, I was meant to be a veterinarian," Katrina said.

Katrina's tip for vet school survival, "Find the positive in anything that happens…there might be some tough days, but there's always a silver lining."
