STJR student Christina Sumners' dream was to work with NOVA. Her
internship allowed her to do so.
This summer, Christina went to Boston to do a 10-week internship
at NOVA. This science-themed television series has won multiple
awards since it started in 1974. It is produced by WGBH, a leading
public television station.

A&M University science and technology journalism graduate
program attended the 2011 American Association for the Advancement
of Science (AAAS) annual meeting, held February 17-21 in
