Two CVM Merit Fellows to join the Hamer Lab in Fall 2012

The CVM recently announced the Fall 2012 Merit Fellows, and the Epi faculty and students are thrilled to welcome two of the three award recipients to our group!   Dr. Miranda Bertram and Rachel Curtis will both conduct PhD studies in Dr. Sarah Hamer's lab.  Miranda and Rachel will develop research questions related to the ecology and epidemiology of emerging vector-borne zoonotic diseases and conservation medicine.  The Fellowship provides four years of support to students with stellar academic records and extensive research experience.    Kudos to Sarah, Miranda, and Rachel!
