Food Animal Clinician - Two Positions

The Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University invite applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty positions in Food Animal Medicine or Surgery. The appointments will be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, depending on qualifications. The food Animal Medicine and Surgery unit provides scheduled and emergency in-house medicine and surgical care ranging from primary to tertiary for both referred and non-referred clients. The successful candidates will be expected to teach and train 4th year veterinary students, interns and residents during clinical rotations, and present didactic lectures in Food Animal courses within the professional curriculum. The successful candidates will also be expected to establish an independent research program and participate in collaborative research. A DVM or equivalent is required. Board certification or eligibility in a Specialty College recognized by the ABVS is required, and advanced degree and beef cattle experience are highly desirable. Eligibility for special/regular licensure by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Examiners is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
