Scholarly Interests

Mechanism(s) of retro viral-induced neurodegeneration. Pathogenesis of brain and bone metastases of mammary gland tumors; application of flow cytometry in the study of tumors; lectin and immunohistochemistry; chemical carcinogenesis; animal models for retro virus-induced neoplasia. Genetic alterations in tumors of the nervous system, dog animal model. Investigating the mechanism of alpha-synuclein in neurodegeneration in a rat animal model. Application of non-invasive technologies in biomedical science. Use of molecular markers in non-invasive optical imaging technologies.
