Gaining Experience Through Practice Partners
Over the summer, Alexandra, a second-year veterinary student and VMBS Ambassador, completed an externship with one of our practice partners, Woodside Equine Clinic.
During her time there, she gained hands-on experience and learned from the clinic’s incredible team of veterinarians, expanding her knowledge of equine medicine and daily clinical practice.
Alexandra also worked with a National Veterinary Associates clinic in Gilbert, Arizona, where she observed a variety of surgical procedures and continued learning from a diverse group of experienced doctors.
She is incredibly grateful for the practice partners who open their doors to veterinary students and provide meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and explore different areas of veterinary medicine.
