Ally

Howdy! My name is Ally, I am from Raynham, Massachusetts, and I am a DVM candidate of the class of 2025. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2021 with a dual B.S. in Pathobiology and Animal Science. My family operated a dog boarding facility for 25 years, so I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I’m a proud Massachusetts FFA alumna, and was the 2016 National First Place Individual in the Veterinary Science Career Development Event.
I spent 4 years working and exploring in various sectors of the veterinary industry, including working as a small animal and equine technician, a large animal ambulatory student extern, an Emergency Department Liaison, a surgical assistant, a necropsy technician, an undergraduate researcher, and as a volunteer for exotics relief work in Honduras! I hope to pursue a combination anatomical pathology residency/PhD after graduation and pursue an academic clinical career in pathology.
Outside of vet med, I love to travel to warm places, horseback ride, spend time with friends, bake chocolate chip cookies, and have a good Netflix binge!
