Lauren

Lauren is a member of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Class of 2028. She was born and raised in Aubrey, Texas, on her family’s cow–calf operation, where she discovered her love for agriculture at a young age. Growing up in FFA and spending countless hours shadowing her father’s work as a veterinarian deepened her appreciation for the responsibility of caring for both animals and the people who rely on them.
Lauren graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2024 with a degree in Animal Science and decided she wasn’t quite ready to hang up her maroon and white, choosing to continue on to veterinary school. She is pursuing a career in mixed animal medicine with the goal of giving back to the agricultural community that shaped her.
Outside the classroom, Lauren loves traveling, reading, cooking, spending time with friends, and going on long walks with her dog, Penelope. She also enjoys serving as a VMBS student ambassador and sharing her passion for Texas A&M’s traditions and the meaning they hold for her.
