Marisa
Marisa is a member of the Veterinary Class of 2025. She is originally from a small, rural town in the mountains of Northern California called Mount Shasta. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology with Honors in Human-Animal Relationships from Texas Christian University in 2021.
While in undergrad, she did psychology research and worked as a Pre-Health Leadership Council Coordinator, as well as for a local small-animal practice. She was very involved in extracurriculars such as a Panhellenic sorority, the TCU Service Dog Organization, and founded the TCU Pre-Veterinary Club.
After graduating with her DVM, she plans on working in a small animal private practice with a focus on canine sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Outside of school, she loves to spend time with her friends or hangout with her Labrador Retriever, DJ. She also spends a lot of her time with her twin sister, who is currently attending Texas A&M’s medical school
