Skylar

Skylar earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. She is currently a member of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, Class of 2028.

Her passion for veterinary medicine began in high school, where she gained hands-on experience working in local veterinary clinics. These early opportunities allowed her to develop a strong foundation in animal care and inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine as a career. Her dedication deepened during her time spent at Texas Tech, where she competed in Western Pleasure through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) as a member of the Texas Tech Equestrian Team. Working closely with horses and teammates further strengthened her commitment to animal health and well-being.

Outside of school, Skylar enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active through workouts, and exploring the outdoors. She especially loves going on walks with her fiancé and their dog, Raider.
