My Travels on Behalf of the College
While attending the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Convention in Boston on July 10-14, I attended a Veritas Joint Steering Committee with Drs. Jodi Korich and Kenita Rogers. The convention and the meeting provided an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, discuss the accessibility of continuing education, learn about more products and services available for veterinarians, introduce all of us to some of the colleges' new facilities, and more. On July 19-21, I attended a meeting of the North American Veterinary Leadership (NAVL), in Banff, Calgary, Canada—my first as the president of the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC). I am honored to serve in this leadership role, and I look forward to fostering new relationships across the country and around the world. |
