2017 TVMA Annual Conference & Expo Held at Texas A&M
The Texas Veterinarian Medical Association (TVMA) visited Texas A&M for their 2017 Annual Conference & Expo on March 2–5, 2017. Veterinarians came from across the state to attend the beginning of a new chapter in veterinary medicine at the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC). The facility represents the latest in teaching technology and investment in the future of the college and veterinary students. Participants at the conference attended daytime lectures, workshops, and a trade show held in this state-of-the-art teaching and clinical facility for the ultimate learning experience. Nearly 400 veterinarians attended, along with more than 150 veterinary students, to perform the business of the organization, acquire and expand their knowledge base and skill set, and grow closer as a veterinary community through networking and fun social activities. However, the TVMA annual conference is just one way the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and the TVMA collaborate.
