Congratulations to Dr. Ken Muneoka, who has been invited to join the faculty council of UNESCO's International Cell Research Organization. The ICRO was established more than a half-century ago to bring sophisticated cell biological mentoring and training to colleagues around the world. Its mission is now more important than ever. Very well-deserved!

These awards recognize alumni for outstanding contributions as Doctors of Veterinary Medicine, as well as professionals from the biomedical sciences program, who have reached a level of success in their professional careers that brings credit to both the individual and the CVM. The Rising Star Award recognizes younger alumni who have made significant contributions to the profession earlier in their careers.
