Overview

American College of Veterinary Radiology seal

All diplomates who train ACVR residents are invited to the ACVR Residency Educator Retreat at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) in College Station, Texas, on Thursday, April 30–Saturday, May 2, 2026, for an interactive blend of keynote talks and facilitated activities, panel discussions, and face-to-face conversations about residency education.

Thursday and Saturday sessions will be planned with our attendees, so we will reach out to you as you register to help organize the itinerary around the topics of greatest interest.

For example: Do you want to learn how others help out a resident who is struggling with skills or knowledge base? How do they facilitate board prep? How can we ensure well-rounded training when programs have such varied caseloads? Do you want to share educational resources or participate in collaborative learning? What strategies have you employed to make your work life or resident training easier, more efficient, or more effective? Educators can share both challenges and successes as a means to find common ground and brainstorm new ideas.

Discuss challenges, share resources, and build community with us!
