The 44th Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society (VCRS) Symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, trainees, and industry professionals from around the world to advance respiratory health across species. Hosted by the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS), the symposium provides a collaborative forum for sharing new discoveries, discussing clinically relevant challenges, and building meaningful partnerships in veterinary and comparative respiratory medicine.
The symposium features keynote presentations, scientific sessions, oral and poster abstract presentations, trainee sessions, networking opportunities, and continuing education designed to connect discovery, translation, and clinical practice.
The Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society Symposium offers something increasingly rare in scientific meetings—a welcoming, collaborative environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally. Rather than navigating a conference with thousands of attendees, VCRS brings together a focused community of clinicians, researchers, trainees, and industry professionals who share a common interest in respiratory health. Discussions continue beyond the podium, collaborations develop naturally, and attendees have direct access to leaders in the field.
Small Meeting. Big Conversations.
At VCRS, attendees don’t just listen to presentations—they become part of the conversation.
Discover emerging diagnostics, therapeutics, and evidence-based approaches to respiratory disease.
Engage with clinicians and researchers shaping the future of respiratory medicine.
Connect animal and human health perspectives to advance respiratory research and care.
Share new findings, explore collaborations, and connect with experts across disciplines.
Explore device development, aerosol science, diagnostics, and translational technologies.
Present research, build professional networks, and learn from leaders in the field.
The VCRS Symposium brings together experts from a wide range of disciplines, creating opportunities to gain new perspectives and explore ideas that extend beyond traditional specialty meetings.
