A Message About MMIs

Dear Texas A&M University DVM applicants,

The desire to provide a safe, comfortable environment for the multiple mini-interviews (MMIs), the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences DVM admissions committee has elected to hold our MMIs virtually through Kira Talent, a web-based interview platform.

Applicants who are selected for an interview will be notified by email about a week before and provided instructions for creating a profile on the Kira Talent platform. This web-based platform will allow applicants to participate in the MMI interview experience without the need to travel and incur additional expenses.  Applicants will have the opportunity to create an account, test their electronic devices to assure adequate recording of their interview, and practice the recording of responses to questions prior to the actual MMI interview.

On Thursday, December 15th, candidates will log in to the Kira Talent platform at the designated time, access each MMI question, and record their candid responses. There is no financial responsibility for applicants for this process.

Texas A&M assigned reviewers will then access the recorded interviews via the Kira Talent platform and score them as they would have traditionally done in a real-time, face-to-face interview.

We know some of you have never visited our campus and we want to make sure that you have all of the information you need to make a good choice about where you will spend the next four years! Applicants invited to participate in the MMI process who wish to visit our campus in person will be invited to a visitation day on Saturday, March 4th. During this event, we will have tours of our college, provide the opportunity for you to meet with our current students and faculty, and have informational sessions about our program.

Please save these dates on your calendar and watch your email for additional information from us!

Sincerely,
Admissions
