May 2018 TMDSAS application opens TMDSAS
Sunday, September 30 Deadline date (last day) to take the GRE exam – must be current version of GRE (must be any exam taken as of August 1, 2011 and thereafter. We will not accept any scores prior to August 1, 2011.) -> Must contact GRE to set up registration and schedule date to take the newest version of the GRE. Only scores from the past 5 years (September 2013 to 2018) will be considered.

Monday, October 1 by 5 p.m. (CST) -> Submit TMDSAS Application via TMDSAS website

-> Submit Supplemental Application via CVM website

-> Applicant Evaluations & official transcripts must be submitted via postal mail postmarked by this date directly to:

-> Must have supplemental application fee postmarked by this date to ensure processing of your application to the DVM Program here Texas A&M University. Check or Money Order Only.

-> Evaluations must be received on or before October 1. Failure to have evaluations to TMDSAS by this date could result in the disqualification of your application by the College of Veterinary Medicine at TAMU. YOU MUST ENSURE YOUR EVALUATION IS RECEIVED TO TMDSAS BY THIS DATE OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED BY THE SELECTIONS COMMITTEE. Please check the status page on TMDSAS’ website to verify receipt of all documents needed for applying.

    • One evaluation must be completed by a veterinarian with whom the applicant has worked. Please notify your evaluators that we will no longer accept letters of support with the evaluation.
    • Evaluation forms will submitted electronically. There will not be a paper evaluations.
Monday, October 1 by 5 p.m. (CST) If paying by EFT, your TMDSAS application fee must be received by 5 p.m. CST.

If paying by cashiers check or money order, your TMDSAS application fee must be received on October 5th in the TMDSAS Office by 5 p.m. CST.
Any fee received after October 5th will be returned and your application will not be forwarded to our institution – NO EXCEPTIONS

Check the status of your payment as well as receipt of all supporting documents through TMDSAS “Check Status” page.
Friday, December 21, 2018 All applicant statuses should be known. Notification is done by e-mail. You must be sure that TMDSAS has your most current and up-to-date e-mail address on file.
January 4 & 5, 2019 CVM Interviewing to take place Please do not contact our office regarding your status. You will be notified of your status on Friday, December 21, 2018.
Mid-March All admissions decisions are made
May 31 All prerequisite courses must be completed and all transcripts submitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine within 15 days of the end of the semester. Request official transcripts from your institution to be mailed to the College of Veterinary Medicine.
