It is unlikely that the cat has pancreatitis. Investigate for other diseases that could cause the observed clinical signs.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\">4.5 &#8211; 8.7 \u00b5g\/L<\/th>\n<td>Questionable range. The cat may have pancreatitis and Spec fPL should be reevaluated in 2-3 weeks if clinical signs persist. Also, the patient should be evaluated for other differential diagnoses.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\">\u22658.8 \u00b5g\/L<\/th>\n<td>Consistent with pancreatitis. Also, consider investigating for risk factors and concurrent diseases (e.g., IBD, cholangitis, diabetes mellitus).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3>Dogs<\/h3>\n<table class=\"dogs-pli\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\">\u2264 200 \u00b5g\/L<\/th>\n<td>Result within the reference interval.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\">201 to 399 \u00b5g\/L<\/th>\n<td>Questionable range. This patient may have pancreatitis and serum cPLI should be reevaluated in 2-3 weeks. Also, the patient should be evaluated for other differential diagnoses.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"row\">\u2265 400 \u00b5g\/L<\/th>\n<td>Consistent with pancreatitis.
