A proud Athenian, Eleni relocated to College Station with her family following a decade in Brussels, Belgium, and instantly fell in love with Texas.

She graduated from the University of Athens with a BA in Communication Science and an MA in International Relations. She also studied international comparative social and public policy and economics, and holds an MSc degree from the Department of Social Policy at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Prior to working for Texas A&M University, Eleni held a number of administrative positions, most notably as Head of Gender Statistics Department in the Hellenic Ministry of Interior’s Research Centre for Equality and as Program Manager of the Agricultural University of Athens’ Traineeship & Internship Office. She also gained extensive expertise working for various European institutions and public sector agencies as a communication and policy consultant.

Eleni provides administrative and logistical coordination to the Veterinary Medical Student Research Training Program (VMSRTP) and the Clinical Research Review Committee (CRRC). She is committed to improving the students’ summer research experience and feels enthusiastic to assist the CRRC to achieve its’ mission and goals.

A blissful gardenerette, voracious reader, and history buff on old Hollywood movies and everything Duran Duran, Eleni enjoys antiquing road trips and spending time with her family and friends.
