Kathie is a native of College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University (class of 1987) with a BS in Agriculture. Kathie began working in the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 1996 in the Office of Research & Graduate Studies.

Today, Kathie is part of an advising team that supports the college’s graduate student population. Kathie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as the primary staff academic advisor to our college’s PhD and MS Thesis students. She helps these students navigate the logistics of university and programmatic requirements and milestones, and connects them with relevant resources at the college and university.

Kathie is married with four children, a dog, and a cat and a brand-new grandbaby! She enjoys spending time with her grandson, reading, crafting, gardening, and sports.
