Ed Davila promoted to Chief Epidemiologist
PhD student Ed Davila has been contributing to the local COVID-19 response, starting as a volunteer with the local health department followed by a part time position. For Fall 2021, he is now Chief Epidemiologist. From Ed: ‘I serve as subject matter expert and help manage a staff of 50+ case investigators who provide information and guidance about COVID-19 to our community. I also work with TAMU leadership and BCHD to provide COVID-19 related public health guidance for the TAMU system.’. Ed was also recently named as the Person of the Year from The Hispanis Forum of Bryan/College Station! Congrats!
