CVM Representatives Visit Reveille Club in Houston

Representatives of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences’ (CVM) Department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology (VTPP) and Michael E. DeBakey Institute for Comparative Cardiovascular Science & Biomedical Devices spoke at the Houston Reveille Club on Sept. 12 to promote research projects taking place at the CVM.

The group consisted of Dr. Glen Laine, VTPP professor; Trudy Bennett, VTPP assistant department head and executive director of the DeBakey Institute; Chastity Carrigan, CVM assistant vice president for development; and Jordan Kuhn, CVM assistant director of development.

They met with the Houston Reveille Club at Café Express to present CVM research highlights and network with Houston Aggies.

The DeBakey Institute, a collaboration between Texas A&M University and the UT Medical School in Houston, is dedicated to the reduction of death and disability from cardiovascular disease in humans and animals.
