Veterinary Educator Collaborative Meeting 2016

Three generations of Texas A&M associate deans: Dr. Karen Cornell, Dr. Debbie Kochevar, dean of Tufts University, and Dr. Kenita Rogers.

A group of educators from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVM) attended the Veterinary Educator Collaborative meeting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The meeting took place at the University of Calgary June 20-21. The CVM was well represented with 13 faculty members present.

Faculty members who attended the Veterinary Educator Collaborative meeting are listed below with notations if they presented.

  • Dr. Kristin Chaney – participated as a member of an AAVMC taskforce on graduate outcomes assessment committee
  • Dr. Kate Creevy – poster presentation
  • Dr. Virginia Fajt – poster presentation and workshop presentation

  • Dr. Jodi Korich and the CET crew – presented a workshop and had extensive exhibitor presence

Collaborative Meeting

Additionally, Dr. Kenita Rogers organized a four-hour workshop on Multiple Mini Interviews with two colleagues from other schools, and Dr. Karen Cornell presented a poster presentation.
