Dr. Adi Joshi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology at Texas A&M University. Dr. Joshi received his PhD in Cellular Physiology and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Texas Medical Branch and pursued Post-doctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine. Before joining Texas A&M, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Joshi's research is focused on investigating the pathophysiological role of Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor in liver and metabolic diseases.

Our research is focused on characterizing pharmacological and toxicological role of Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor. We use contemporary molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques as well as cutting-edge genomics and proteomics methodologies to decipher role of Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor, its ligands, cofactors, and target genes in hepatic and metabolic diseases.
Dr. Joshi is currently accepting graduate, undergraduate students, and post-doctoral trainees.
