Feline medicine, preventative care and wellness
As a clinical associate professor, my goals are to teach students how to be thorough and competent veterinarians especially as it relates to primary care and emergency medicine in companion animals. This includes focusing on the importance of comprehensive and complete histories and examinations and developing strong critical thinking and communication skills.
I also serve as Chief Medical Officer of the Small Animal Hospital helping to improve communications and processes between referring veterinarians, clients and clinicians.
