Welcome to the Green Vets Website!
Purpose
Green Vet’s purpose is the conservation of animals and their habitats.
We strive to achieve this goal by educating members about global conservation issues and related Texas A&M research and working locally to use resources more efficiently.
Why you should join
Green Vets is not only for those interested in careers in conservation medicine; we want to equip all veterinarians to educate their clients and the public about environmental issues, endangered species and breeds, and how to live green.
Upcoming events
This year we hope to include a trip, a wet lab, and lectures from A&M faculty involved in conservation genetics.
