Paid externships
Blue River PetCare is a network of mainly small animal GP practices with 200+ locations from coast to coast. We have opportunities galore in all facets of general practice (including avian/exotics, equine, mixed animal, and feline-only).
We offer year-round hands-on externships with participating hospitals. Our team can help students select a location that meets their preferences, including any desired goals or learning objectives. All students will then have the opportunity to meet the Medical Director (or Lead Associate) to ask questions & learn more about the practice prior to confirming the externship.
Externships completed for university clinical credit are eligible for a weekly paid stipend of $750 to help with housing or travel expenses!
