Practitioner Survey

This year’s Mixed Animal Job Fair will be held November 10th, 2012 during the Ruminant Wetlab that is put on by SCAABP and SCAASRP. This is a great opportunity to visit with veterinary students who are interested in employment and externships in mixed animal practices. Practitioners will have the chance to introduce themselves and their practice to the students. The event will then be open for students and practitioners to visit amongst themselves. We are hoping to reveal the numerous opportunities available to mixed animal practices and to make connections between veterinarians and students who are genuinely interested in their type of practice. In Summary:

Goals of Mixed Animal Job Fair

• CONNECT students seeking employment in mixed animal practice with potential employers
• BUILD relationships between students and practitioners that might lead to externships or employment in the future
• ENHANCE communication between veterinary students and private practitioners about the opportunities in mixed rural practice
