Schubot Center Presents “Parrots 101,” Made Possible by the National Parrot Rescue & Preservation Foundation
The Schubot Center is pleased to announce a special educational event presented by the National Parrot Rescue & Preservation Foundation. As part of its commitment to support student learning, the foundation will offer three presentations to help broaden the knowledge base of students through exposure to psittacine care, behavior, training, and enrichment, which are all very important for their overall expertise.
The event, titled Parrots 101, has been made possible thanks to a grant donated to the foundation, allowing this activity to be offered free of charge.

“Parrots 101”, will take place on Saturday, April 18 at 9:00 a.m. in Building 508, VTH Room 101 lecture hall, near the old Critical Care Café.
Each presentation will last about 45 to 50 minutes, with a 10 to 15 minute break between presentations. Also, each session will have a few door prizes for attendees.
This will be a very nice opportunity for students and other participants interested in parrots to learn more about psittacine care, behavior, training, and enrichment from experienced professionals in the field.
