Join us this Wednesday November 5th at the Schubot Aviary for a special screening of Life with Alex (2012), a touching and insightful documentary directed by Emily Wick. The film follows the extraordinary story of Dr. Irene Pepperberg, a pioneering scientist who spent decades studying the behavior and communication of the African Grey parrot, Alex.
Life with Alex offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most remarkable studies in animal cognition. It invites us to reflect on how animals think, learn, and communicate — and on the deep connections that can form between researchers and their study subjects.
