Taylor

Taylor Taylor is a third-year veterinary student from Boerne. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from Texas A&M in May 2015. Taylor always had a passion for animals and veterinary medicine and grew up raising and showing pigs during middle school and high school. Her experiences in 4-H are what helped her to realize that she wanted to pursue the veterinary profession! She enjoys working with all animals—big, small, and exotic—and would, therefore, love to work in a mixed-animal practice after graduation.

Back at home in Boerne, her family has three English bulldogs, Coco, Iggy, and Sadie. She also has a French bulldog, Summer, here in College Station with her.

"She always puts a big smile on my face when I get home from a tough day of class," Taylor said.

Outside of class, she enjoys relaxing with friends and watching lots of Netflix. When she has time, she enjoys painting and photography and letting her creativity flow. She also loves to travel.

"I have been lucky enough to travel to amazing and beautiful places like Australia, Italy, Germany, England, Ireland, France, and most recently South Africa. I participated in the South Africa Wildlife Conservation study abroad trip and had the time of my life as I got to work with many African animals including Nyala, Cape Buffalo, and even an Elephant!" Taylor said.
