The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVM)
offers telehealth consulting with live video interaction, providing remote ultrasound, dermatology consultations, and more.

Following each telehealth visit, veterinarians will receive a written report summarizing the consultation and possible recommendations. Each consultation is also eligible for continuing education (CE) credits through the CVM’s Office of Continuing Education. Telehealth consultations are available by scheduled appointment only.

Telehealth allows a general practitioner to take advantage of the expertise of our specialists in the VMTH when additional input and support is needed to aid in patient care, but travel to the hospital may not be feasible, or when a client wants confirmation that a referral is truly the best option for the patient’s health and care.
