Back from the upper Tambopata River

After several intense days in the field, we return with plenty accomplished:

  • Checked our phenology plots to track fruit and flower availability.
  • Monitored the clay licks, where dozens of macaws and parrots gathered each morning.
  • Began critical nest maintenance, ensuring natural and artificial nests are ready for the upcoming breeding season.

A huge thank you to Harrison’s Bird Foods for supporting our research and to ProCiencia for supporting scientific research in Peru
