Newly Released Scarlet Macaws Thriving in Bosque Escondido

Four of the five recently released Scarlet Macaws have been spotted traveling together just days after their release! These young macaws are already integrating with the group released in May and are taking advantage of the supplemental feeding stations—a promising start for these vibrant birds.

A huge congratulations to Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center for their decades of work toward restoring the Scarlet Macaw population in the Nicoya Peninsula. Their commitment is truly paying off!

A special thank you to our field leader, Roshan Tailor, for his exceptional leadership and tireless work at Bosque Escondido.
