Group of released Yellow-naped Parrots spotted foraging on wild foods at Bosque Escondido

Exciting news from Bosque Escondido, Costa Rica!

Just a few weeks after their release, FOUR Yellow-naped parrots have been spotted foraging on the seeds of a Guanacaste Blanco (Albizia neopoides) on the trails near their pre-release cages.

These parrots are now eating wild foods and making parrot calls as they learn how to thrive in their natural habitat. It’s a fantastic sight to see them becoming wild parrots once again! 🙌🏼🦜
