This <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">collaboration with WT allows the <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/vetmed.tamu.edu\">Texas A&amp;M College of Veterinary Medicine &amp; Biomedical Sciences (VMBS)<\/a> to bring fundamental training and research back to the heart of large animal production agriculture in Texas. The more than 22,000-square-foot facility will serve as a learning space for DVM program students and supplement veterinary externship programs in rural Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VERO facility includes multiple classrooms, each of which will accommodate 30\u201350 students. These will also be used for outreach activities, including the training of livestock workers and continuing education for veterinarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThese new state-of-the-art facilities create a highway of education, research, and outreach activity from West Texas A&amp;M University to the Texas A&amp;M VMBS and back that supports animal health in this region.
