Welcome Brian!

The Verocai Lab is pleased to welcome Brian Reiber as a Ph.D. student. Brian is originally from New York and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University in 2022, followed by a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2025. His experience spans both industry and academia, including conducting third-party microbial testing and contributing to public health research focused on avian influenza among dairy farm workers in Texas. Brian is excited to join the Verocai Lab as a PhD student! In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active through weight training and running, along with cooking.

We are looking forward to seeing Brian grow as a parasitologist, researcher, and student!
