Veterinary Medical Park (VMP) has about approximately 185 acres of pasture space and indoor animal housing.

  • Pasture and indoor housing for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs
  • New equine barn with convertible stalls
    • 10 stalls at 12 x 24, or
    • 20 stalls at 12 x 12
  • 15 outdoor concrete pens for ruminants
  • 10 buildings that support ABSL-2 research 
  • 2 surgical suites, one of which has ABSL-2 capabilities
    • Suites include
      • mechanical hoists,
      • monitoring equipment,
      • anesthesia machines,
      • induction rooms, and
      • recovery rooms
  • Spaces for postoperative monitoring, treatments, and procedures

Spaces are also available at the TIPS (Texas A&M Insitute for Preclinical Studies) facility.
