Areas of Study

VIBS neuroscientists are integrating cutting-edge basic and clinically relevant translational research. Such research includes how environmental factors interact with the genetic background to induce pathology and dysfunction in neurological diseases and neurodevelopmental disorders. VIBS neuroscience faculty members are also members of the Texas A&M Institute of Neuroscience interdisciplinary faculty.
