Travel Awards

Purpose: Texas A&M University and the
College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences are
committed to helping students access career enhancing opportunities
in an international setting. To this end, students may apply for
$1000 scholarships to help offset travel expenses.
- The application deadline will remain open until all
scholarships have been awarded.
In order to qualify and receive this scholarship, the following
stipulations apply:
- Students must register through the University Study Abroad
office.
- Students must meet with a TAMU CVM faculty mentor to help you
with your international plans. If you need help finding a faculty
mentor, a list of available faculty mentors and their areas of
interest on the CVM International Programs website.
- Scholarships are for travel for international work or study
opportunities in veterinary medicine or related biomedical sciences
but NOT to attend international conferences.
- The scholarships are NOT for faculty led Study Abroad
courses.

Purpose: Limited competitive awards (3) up to
$5000 are available for international travel to support new
programs that will enhance the College of Veterinary Medicine's
international opportunities through research collaboration, study
abroad, or international development.
- The application deadline will remain open until all
scholarships have been awarded.
In order to qualify and receive this funds, the following
stipulations apply:
- Funds are not for travel to attend international
conferences.
- The scholarships are NOT for faculty led Study Abroad
courses.
