About the Topic
The traditional definition of mentorship within the veterinary profession is getting support and guidance from someone more experienced within your practice, and historically, mentorship has focused on developing the medical skills and acumen of young professionals. With growing demands for recruitment and retention, as well as the mental health challenges the profession is facing, we must evolve to meet the current needs of today’s veterinary professionals. In this seminar, we will discuss how mentorship is evolving in the veterinary industry so you can consider how you will craft more intentional structures for mentorship within your practice.
