The Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH) at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) is a premier companion animal hospital recognized for excellence in patient care. The SATH holds accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association, Level I Emergency and Critical Care Facility certification from the Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care Society, and Gold-level Cat Friendly Practice® status.

The Large Animal Teaching Hospital (LATH) at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) is a leading destination for large animal care, serving horses, cattle, and other hoofstock. The hospital offers a broad range of specialty and field services — ranging from dermatology to theriogenology — and is home to one of the few full-time farriers employed by a U.S. veterinary college.
