Abbie
Abbie is a member of the veterinary class of 2026. She was born and raised in Copperas Cove, Texas and graduated from West Texas A&M with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology with a focus on wildlife in 2022.
While an undergrad, Abbie gathered a variety of experience in small animal emergency, zoo, wildlife rehabilitation, as well as equine, feedlot, dairy and rural medicine through working for VERO. After graduating, Abbie will go on to work in regulatory medicine with wildlife and livestock.
When not studying, Abbie loves to travel, hike, hammock, and play with her domestic short hair cat, Brisket. She is an active member of the ZEW (Zoo, Exotics, and Wildlife) Club, Wildlife Disease Association, Honeybee Vets, and Christian Veterinary Fellowship.
