Claire
Claire is a class of 2027 veterinary student at Texas A&M University. She grew up in Plano, Texas before attending Texas A&M University, where she graduated with a B.S. in biomedical sciences, a minor in wildlife and fisheries sciences, and a certificate in biomedical research in May 2023. Claire spent her undergrad rotating between a mixed small animal/exotic private practice, wildlife rehabilitation center, and the anesthesia department of Texas A&M’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital before focusing on a passion for wildlife medicine through a month-long internship in the Limpopo region of South Africa. After graduating, she hopes to pursue a career in global veterinary medicine and conservation while practicing as a wildlife veterinarian. Outside of school, Claire enjoys testing out new baking recipes, reading, seeking out local live music, and spending time with her dog, Davy Crockett.
