Makayla
Makayla is a member of the veterinary class of 2027. She is from Red Oak, Texas and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Alabama A&M University in 2023.
Makayla first knew she wanted to become a veterinarian in elementary school when she got her first dog. During undergrad, she was a part of the pre-vet society, animal science club, and played college soccer. Makayla also worked as a veterinary assistant during the summers to gain experience during undergrad. Her goals are to become a small animal and exotics veterinarian.
In her free time, Makayla enjoys going on walks, playing on an intramural recreational soccer team, and trying different coffee shops.
